Prof Christian A. Pohl's piano methodology is unique. There is nothing comparable. For the first time, the complexity of artistic piano playing and musical learning, including the individual mental disposition, is illuminated in an extraordinarily accessible and understandable way.

The integration of instructional videos into piano lessons is suitable for advanced students from the age of around 15.

The flashcards are part of the book "Klaviermethodik" (Edition Peters EP11511). The book contains a QR code with which the cards can be downloaded directly from the publisher in high resolution and at no additional cost. The flashcards of the Digital Piano Method can be viewed on screen.

Pupils can subscribe to the digital piano method themselves at any time and then go through the course. A separate certificate for students based on the videos shared by the teacher is not provided.

The instructional videos are written in easy-to-understand language. Nevertheless, some of the content goes deep into artistic and pianistic creation. Depending on the level of cognitive development, individual videos can be of great benefit to pupils from the age of around 12. As a rule

Experience has shown that you can easily work through the online course in three to four months if you set aside one to two hours a week. The content is so in-depth and multi-faceted that many teachers watch videos several times and put the many ideas into practice before watching more videos. Others, on the other hand, first get an overview by consistently going through the entire course.
